Ítem Automation and Optimization of Industrial Scale Essential Oil Extraction from Citrus Peel Using a Neutrosophic Control System Model(University of New Mexico. Zenodo, 2023-12-01) Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Espinoza Quispe, Luis Enrique; Sandoval Trigos, Jesús César; Tuya Cerna, Bheny Janett; Moscoso Paucarchuco, Ketty Marilú; Moreno Menéndez, Fabricio Miguel; Julca Marcelo, Edson HilmerThe extraction of essential oils in the world is widely used to combat various diseases, and also helps for giving a good taste to food (flavoring condiments) and cosmetics that do not pollute the environment or generate chemicals. Peru is in the top 10 countries with the greatest biological diversity in the world, having an approximate 10% of world flora and endless endemic species, also valuing the citrus fruits having productive of orange, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, and tangelo. Therefore, processes are analyzed and a model for the extraction of essential oil from citrus fruits is developed, through the design of an industrial-scale steam extractor, which establishes the automation of the filling and emptying of the distiller to obtain better results and also automates a closed-loop control for refrigeration, to help the operator to control and supervise the process of refrigeration and water filling using a control panel. The distillation process was analyzed where an average of 1% to 5% of essential oil of citrus fruits was obtained and the development of a control for the supervision of the filling and emptying of the water was analyzed. In this paper we introduce a Neutrosophic (Indeterminate) Control System model based on the well-known Fuzzy Control Systems models, especially Mamdani's. It is applied in the process of automating the extraction of essential oil from citrus fruits. An Indeterminate Control System, like its similar Fuzzy Control System, makes it possible to control the oil production process with the help of natural language. The advantage of the Indeterminate Control System is that it explicitly considers indeterminacy due to the non-homogeneity of the parameters within the system, thus it is more accurate.Ítem Automation in the Food Industry: Design of a Machine for the Cutting of Native Potatoes(EDP Sciences logo, 2023-12-23) Cárdenas Bustamante, Mary Amelia; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Moscoso Paucarchuco, Ketty Marilú; Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; González Ríos, Rosa Cecilia; Salcedo Gonzales, Juan CarlosDue to the lack of technological development in the country's food industry, it makes sense to build an automated machine to obtain potato strips from native potatoes. The cutting of potato strips is a big problem for several companies. They are operated and processed manually, which results in the loss of part of the product in the peel, increased time for this operation, loss of money, work accidents, and the tiredness and fatigue of the workers in charge of the production. The design was developed to solve these problems. In the production process, the optimization of the synchronization of the described operations fulfils all production functions, but above all, it guarantees the quality of the final product, reduces losses caused by industrial accidents, and brings economic benefits to the company. Considering the design of the automated machine in the cutting process, the future development of the company aims to automate the entire processing plant as a first step for the cutting process by applying the mechanical design method. VDI 2221: This method goes deeper into the design process to find the best opportunities for research and development. It also concludes that, at the end of the process, an optimal machine has been designed that meets research and problem-solving requirements with regard to potato cutting.Ítem Design of a Business Sustainability Measurement Method for Based on NeutroAlgebras Generated by the Combining Function in Prospector and Neutrosophic 2-tuple Linguistic Models(International Journal of Neutrosophic Science, 2024-05-23) Moscoso Moscoso, Ketty Marilú; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Quispe Quezada, Uriel Rigoberto; Alvarez Bernuy, Silvia Marina; Quispe Solano, Miguel Angel; Julca-Marcelo, Edson Hilmer; Ramirez Salas, Wilfredo; Gamarra Moreno, ArturoBusiness sustainability has become a global imperative in response to the environmental, social, and economic challenges facing our world. In this context, the measurement and evaluation of business sustainability have become crucial to guide the actions of organizations towards more responsible and sustainable practices. However, the lack of specific measurement instruments for specific regional contexts may limit the ability of companies to evaluate and improve their sustainability performance. In this paper, we present the design of a business sustainability measurement method adapted to the context of Tarma, Peru. Tarma, a region located in the heart of the Peruvian Andes, is characterized by its cultural, environmental, and economic diversity, making it a unique context to address business sustainability. This article proposes a method for measuring business sustainability based on the Neutrosophic 2-tuple Linguistic Model, which includes an aggregation operation based on a NeutroAlgebra generated by Combining Functions in Prospector.Ítem Determination of the degree of relationship between Activity Cost and Financial Management in beef cattle production in a region of Peru, based on Indeterminate Likert Scale and Neutrosophic Similarity(University of New Mexico. Zenodo, 2024-02-24) Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; Ramírez Vásquez, Michael Raiser; Moscoso Paucarchuco, Ketty Marilú; Vivanco Nuñez, Omar Arturo; Yupanqui Villanueva, Humberto Rafael; Yupanqui Villanueva, Wilfredo Fernando; Fernámdez Jaime, Rafael Jesús; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel MichaelActivity Cost and Financial Management are two variables of vital importance in livestock production. This paper aims to measure the relationship existing between these two variables within the production of beef cattle in the Coto-Coto Chilca Livestock Fair in Peru. To do this, we selected 141 ranchers from the area to give their opinions regarding the behavior of these two variables. The data were represented with the help of an Indeterminate Likert Scale, to capture the uncertainty and indeterminacy of the respondents' opinion. Survey results were compared for the two variables using a measure of neutrosophic similarities. Neutrosophic similarities are used to measure the degree of similarity between two neutrosophic sets measured in certain aspects.Ítem Emprendimiento juvenil universitario en el Perú: capacidades potenciales y efectivas(Universo Sur, 2023-06-30) Cárdenas Bustamante, Mary Amelia; González Ríos, Rosa Cecilia; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; Moscoso Paucarchuco, Ketty MarilúEn la actualidad el término emprendimiento empresarial resulta recurrente en varios escenarios, fundamentalmente en las universidades. Se discuten los conflictos de interés y la regulación normativa en el país, así como las perspectivas futuras y la necesidad de un desarrollo energético estable y sostenible.Ítem Evaluation of the Economic Viability of Circular Models in Agri-culture Based on Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps(International Journal of Neutrosophic Science (IJNS), 2024-05-09) Moscoso Moscoso, Ketty Marilú; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Quispe Quezada, Uriel Rigoberto; Alvarez Bernuy, Silvia Marina; Quispe Solano, Miguel Angel; Julca Marcelo, Edson Hilmer; Gamarra Moreno, Arturo; Ramirez Salas, WilfredoThe main purpose of this evaluation is to analyze the economic viability of the implementation of circular models in agriculture in Tarma, Peru. This involves examining the costs and benefits associated with the adoption of circular practices, as well as identifying possible barriers and opportunities for their implementation at the local level. By better understanding the economic landscape, it will be possible to inform decision-making both at the government level and at the level of individual farmers. For the analysis, we have a committee of 30 experts who will evaluate the relationship between variables that positively or negatively affect the implementation of these models in the town. The tool selected for the analysis is Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps, which includes an indeterminacy component within the calculations. This allows greater accuracy in the results since indeterminacy is an inherent part of prediction.Ítem Plithogenic Statistical Study of Environmental Audit and Corporate Social Responsibility in the Junín Region, Peru(University of New Mexico. Zenodo, 2023-11-30) Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; Moscoso Paucarchuco, Ketty Marilú; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Moreno Menéndez, Fabricio Miguel; Vásquez Ramírez, Michael Raiser; Fernández Jaime, Rafael Jesús; Sandoval Trigos, Jesús César; Calderon Fernandez, Paul CesarCaring for the environment is a transversal task that concerns all professions, including accounting, with an emphasis on auditing; on the other hand, corporate social responsibility seeks efficiency between environmental, social, and economic aspects. This research aims to determine the relationship between environmental auditing and corporate social responsibility in the Junín Region, Peru. To meet this objective, surveys were applied to a randomly selected sample (121 Chartered Public Accountants) and interviews (12 Auditors attached to the Audit Chapter) as research instruments, the sample was obtained from the members of the College of Public Accountants of Junín, which made it possible through the Concurrent Triangulation Design to apply a holistic vision that allowed to compensate and strengthen the credibility of the investigation. To combine all these statistical results, the Plithogenic Statistic was used as a tool for processing the collected data. One of the advantages offered by the plithogenic theory is the possibility of combining knowledge from different sources, which allows us to capture the holistic and dynamic nature of the phenomena. In this case, there is a phenomenon that responds to different branches of knowledge that overlap in a complex way, such as the environmental and ecological aspect, with the economic-financial aspect, as well as the social and educational aspect, which present contradictory components among themselves.Ítem Study of the Pampay Mass (burial of offering) at the summit of the Andean snow-capped mountain as an example of (t,i,f)-Neutrosophic social structure(University of New Mexico. Zenodo, 2023-11-23) Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; Moscoso Paucarchuco, Ketty Marilú; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Moreno Menéndez, Fabricio Miguel; Fernández Jaime, Rafael Jesús; Paco Huamani, Wilfredo Fredy; Vásquez Ramírez, Michael Raiser; Sandoval Trigos, Jesús CésarThe purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics of the Mass Pampay ritual (burying an offering with special objects) of the peasants on the summit of the snow-capped Apu Razuhuillca located in the Andes of Peru at 4,800 meters above sea level as (t,i,f)-Neutrosophic social structure. The essence is to explain the syncretic relationship between the Catholic religion and the ancestral Andean philosophy that has survived over time for generations. The method of study is a survey of the natives and tourists, believer or not in the sacred power of the Apu (Andean God) that provides spiritual security to the pilgrims on special dates of the Andean calendar, which is July 31 of each year, the ceremony on the eve of the Andean custom to the branding of cattle in honor of the feast of “Taita Santiago”. We measure approximately the degree of certainty, ignorance, and contradiction which are present in this traditionÍtem Study of the relationship among economic variables in cattle production in a region of Peru, based on Plithogenic Statistics(University of New Mexico. Zenodo, 2024-03-01) Gutiérrez Gómez, Edgar; Vásquez Ramírez, Michael Raiser; Yupanqui Villanueva, Humberto Rafael; Yupanqui Villanueva, Wilfredo Fernando; Beraún Espíritu, Manuel Michael; Fernández Jaime, Rafael JesúsThis paper is an in-depth study that starts from a preliminary one, where we surveyed 141 ranchers from the town of Coto-Coto in Peru to obtain as much information as possible about the relationship between two economic variables, Activity Cost and Financial Management. Furthermore, we study the correlation of the first one of them with three other economic variables. To do this, we process the survey data using logical operators with the support of the plithogenic statistics theory. These results given in the form of plithogenic values are logically aggregated and were converted to crisp values and studied through the use of statistical tools, specifically Kendall's Tau b. The study of economic variables within the field of cattle farming is of great importance because it allows us to improve the productivity of this economic sector, which is also part of the most accepted human diet worldwide. A substantial advantage in the use of plithogeny is that linguistic values that are more natural for livestock farmers were processed, in addition, uncertainty and indeterminacy were taken into account by the use of neutrosophic numbers.
